Ueshiro Okinawan Family Karate Club

Welcome to the Ueshiro Okinawan Family Karate Club. For centuries, karate was an art form that had been handed down by parent to child or by a teacher to a select one or two students. Our karate club aims to continue this tradition.

We train in Shorin Ryu karate, an authentic Okinawan style, just as it has been practiced and perfected over the centuries. The Ueshiro Okinawan Karate Family Club is part of Shorin-Ryu Karate U.S.A., an organization founded by Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro and directed by Hanshi Robert Scaglione, with many affiliated clubs and dojo around the world.
