Propagate our Art

We walk through the front doors of our dojo. We bow, we stretch, we train, we analyze our techniques, meditate and go home. We see all the benefits and joy that karate brings to us both on and off the deck. But how often do we take the time to share it with the other people in our lives?

Propagating our "Ueshiro Shorin Ryu Karate U.S.A." is probably one of the greatest ways to say Domo Arigato to Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro and Hanshi Robert Scaglione for giving us the training we know today.

This can easily be done by knowing a few questions:
1. Who brought our system of karate to the United states?
2. Who is our current Hanshi?
3. What is my Sensei's name?
4. What is the name of the dojo I train in?
5. What is the address, website, and phone number of my dojo?
6. What style of karate do we train?

You will find many other deshi from various other martial arts systems/schools that can't even answer those questions. But WE all can!

So when asked by a total stranger off the street about our system.....if you can simply answer the above (6) questions, you have done a great job at helping to propagate our art. You may not have the answers to everyone's questions, but by letting others know where you train, who your Sensei is, and giving contact information...you have opened our doors for others to enjoy and see what we know as Ueshiro Shorin Ryu Karate USA, founded by Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro and under the direction of Hanshi Robert Scaglione.
