In our often over-scheduled, stress-filled, profit-motivated, competition-based lives, we are already doing something extraordinarily positive for our minds and bodiesShorin-Ryu Karate. However, if the meditation at the opening and closing of formal classes is the only meditation you do in the course of the week, consider making the time to add regular meditation to your everyday schedule. Let this period of calm be the Yin to the Yang that is your busy day.
